Within this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the department Directors to develop and successfully implement gallery exhibitions and programmes, they shall advise and support gallery artists in all exhibition-related activities and develop meaningful, productive relationships with artists and museums. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director in an administrative and research focused capacity, covering EA responsibilities such as diary and travel management, coordination of interviews, correspondence and database maintenance and development. This is a client-facing role, and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact on the telephone and over email, so must be well-spoken, composed, and confident dealing with extremely high profile clients and candidates. Research forms the backbone of our company and will constitute a significant portion of this position. The successful candidate will conduct focused research in direct response to client briefs and will also work closely with the Director on broader research to fuel our business development efforts in America. The successful candidate will design and execute a communication strategy together with the Gallery Relation team. As well as writing, editing and updating content for the Art Fair’s digital channels and providing website and newsletter statistics to various stakeholders.
