The successful candidate must be a multi-tasker with high quality communication skills, both verbal and written. Communication across teams / departments, prepping for meetings and follow-up on internal matters will also form part of the day to day work profile. The successful candidate will report solely to the CEO, and maintain working relationship with all teams. The role is highly confidential and the successful candidate must be able to exercise judgement in meetings, correspondence, phone calls and other communication channels.
Familiarity with Indian art and the art market in Asia is required.
Our client, an international blue-chip gallery based in Mayfair, is looking for a Communications Manager. The successful candidate will oversee UK and European communications, reporting into the Director of Communications based in New York. The ideal candidate will have at least five years related experience in public relations and marketing, and demonstrate excellent communications skills. They must able to work well with autonomy, be proactive with opportunities but also be able to work well with multiple teams in various geographical locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; planning and implementing all strategic press campaigns across a wide range of media, maintaining and cultivating media relationships, organising press events and liaising with museums and PR agencies as needed.
A young artist who has received a significant amount of commercial success in recent years is seeking a Studio Manager to join their fast-growing London studio. The position will involve working closely with the artist on large scale installation and exhibition projects in major international museums and galleries, with a focus on performance, sound installations, mixed-media sculptures and other experimental works. Managing these projects alongside a small team of studio assistants, responsibilities will include overseeing the general administration and development of the studio. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational, managerial and communication skills, experience in the administrative processes of an artist studio and an ability to work with great independence and flexibility. French language skills, a musical understanding and advanced IT skills would be welcomed. This role will initially be on a part-time freelance basis with the potential to develop into a full-time, salaried role.
On behalf of our client, a London-based art fair, we are seeking a Fair Director to take overall responsibility for the satisfaction of its visitors and exhibitors, as well as the commercial success and effective delivery of the fair. Responsibilities will include building relationships with exhibitors and key suppliers including venue owners and stand builders; negotiating costs, managing budgets and delivering financial targets; planning the content of the event and visitor experience; selling stands and stand extras to galleries whilst ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the fair; securing and managing sponsors for the event; and in conjunction with the Marketing Director, driving the brand messages and vision of the fair to press, exhibitors, sponsors and visitors. The Fair Director will actively seek out new ways to improve the fairs, to add value to the event whilst increasing revenue. It is, however, also very much a hands-on, role, requiring the Director to get stuck in at all levels, leading and motivating the team in the run-up, during, and post-fair. The successful candidate will have significant relevant experience with demonstrable expertise of managing and delivering complex and ambitious projects, an excellent track record in sales and/or fundraising and an ability to communicate confidently as the ‘face of the fair’.

This person will be expected to independently oversee the daily management of the gallery space, engage with clients and handle press enquiries. This person will also be responsible for maintenance and security at the gallery.
