Our client, a leading international gallery, is looking for a Public Relations Manager to join their team in New York. The PR Manager will support the public relations team in the development and execution of the gallery’s press strategy, including the development of press materials; collaboration with the European and Asian teams to advance the gallery’s brand globally; building and maintaining relationships with journalists; pitching minor campaigns with a focus on exhibitions and artists; supporting the Director of PR with media outreach around major events; strategizing press attendance at events; and research of coverage and new media outlets to develop campaign reports and best practices, among other duties. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of modern and contemporary artists, excellent writing, interpersonal, and project management skills, and the ability to work well collaboratively as well as individually. Candidates with 4+ years’ experience within a PR or Communications agency, or on a corporate PR team, are invited to apply.
