Rosie has served as SML’s Managing Director since 2019 and oversees all commercial and operational activity, including the business’ two offices and regional representatives. Having joined the firm in 2013, Rosie has a decade of experience running searches across Europe, New York, and Hong Kong.

Rachel Johnston
Commercial Director
Rachel is responsible for global commercial oversight. She works directly with clients on executive search briefs and on their most senior placements, while also overseeing the activities of SML’s global consulting and research teams. Having spent time in New York building our network and business in the US, Rachel leads placements internationally from the London office.

Associate Director
Alex works with clients throughout the UK and internationally, managing a broad range of senior-level briefs. With a background in financial recruitment, Alex specialises in finance and operations placements. Alex manages SML’s London-based consulting team.

Allison oversees senior placements across the US. Allison partners with a wide variety of clients and has deep experience advising US businesses on their hiring strategies, as well as a special affinity for our work with artists’ studios. Allison manages the US consulting team.

Robyn heads up SML’s global research function, leveraging extensive data analysis and industry knowledge to shape our services, optimise search strategies and enhance our ability to attract, engage, and place top talent within our clients’ organisations. Robyn also oversees initiatives to elevate our community impact and manages relationships with collaborators to deliver on this commitment.

Joyce covers searches of junior and mid-senior administrative, sales and managerial positions for clients across London. With Cantonese and Mandarin as her native languages, she also connects and works with Chinese-speaking candidates and clients both in the UK and Hong Kong.

Olivia supports the US team and manages the New York office’s day-to-day operations. She is responsible for registering new candidates and handles research projects to develop SML’s candidate networks throughout the US. Olivia project manages partnerships as part of SML’s candidate outreach with schools.
