Marketing Coordinator, Gallery, New York
Our client, a well-established contemporary gallery, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their New York team. The successful candidate will play a key role on the gallery’s Communications team, with responsibilities to include: proposing visual and written content for social media and managing the social media calendar; diversifying the gallery’s content by incorporating archival and behind-the-scenes imagery; collaborating with the graphic designers to execute story content to promote events, art fairs, and gallery openings; engaging with the gallery’s audience on social media; contributing to the social media presence of the gallery’s artists and estates; supporting commerce-focused content for the gallery’s bookstore; supporting the gallery’s newsletter and developing an annual newsletter for its publishing program; and assisting with the promotion of gallery events, among other duties. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of marketing platforms and tools, prior experience managing and supporting multiple social media accounts, and proficiency in graphic design tools and basic video editing skills.
