Sales & Business Director, Artist Studio, New York
Our client, an internationally renowned artist, is looking for a Sales & Business Director to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will drive the studio’s sales process by developing and implementing sales strategies as well as selling the artist’s work to a diverse range of collectors, including individual, corporate, and institutional clients; building and maintaining collector relationships; generating new sales opportunities through attendance at art world events; hosting clients in the studio galleries for viewings; and identifying and negotiating potential partnerships and collaborations with sponsors and institutions to expand the studio’s business opportunities, among other duties. Candidates with an established network of notable collectors and clients, a proven track record of achieving sales goals, and 5+ years’ experience in a sales role with a major auction house or gallery are invited to apply. Sales commission will be offered on top of salary.
