Sales & Artist Associate, Gallery, Los Angeles
Our client, an international blue-chip gallery, is seeking a Sales and Artist Associate to join their Los Angeles team. The successful candidate will manage and strengthen relationships with long-term clients while cultivating new client relationships with a focus on the West Coast; execute sales and consistently meet or exceed sales targets; oversee the Los Angeles viewing rooms; generate sales invoices and facilitate post-sale client services; collaborate on regional sales strategies and identify new business opportunities to expand the gallery’s regional presence; work closely with the Director(s) on market development strategies for designated artists while proactively maintaining artist relationships; and collaborate with artists on the concept, design, and installation of gallery exhibitions, among other responsibilities. The ideal candidate is charismatic and detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Candidates with an Art History education and a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a commercial art business are encouraged to apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
