Our client, a leading international contemporary blue-chip gallery, is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Associate Director of Sales to join their team in Paris. This opportunity would suit a highly motivated, relationship driven and sales orientated art market professional with a proven sales track record and a genuine enthusiasm for external engagement and building relationships on behalf of the gallery. The successful candidate will focus primarily on relationship cultivation and business development activities, translating to sales generation. This is an artist-centric and curatorial rigorous gallery with a conceptually driven programme so the successful candidate will feel confident operating within this context. The role requires a visible presence within the gallery Tuesday-Saturday, including regular engagement with visitors and collectors, mentorship to more junior team members, and attendance at exhibitions, events, art fairs, and openings as required. We are seeking an individual already established in Paris, with a nuanced understanding of the market and its key players.
