Gallery Manager, Gallery, Brussels
Our client, an international blue-chip gallery, is seeking a Gallery Manager to join their team in Brussels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the space, with oversight of gallery finances, administration, and operations. Key responsibilities include supervising the Gallery Assistant and Intern; coordinating HR activities such as payroll, benefits, and leave management; providing local HR support across hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes; offering general administrative support to Directors and staff as needed; managing new artist onboarding, including contracts and subcontracts; collecting required documentation and conducting KYC and AML checks; issuing client invoices and following up on cash collection; and working closely with external accountants on reconciliations, as well as liaising with the accountant and bank account manager, among other duties. Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of experience in a commercial art gallery, auction house, or related field, with preference given to those with prior financial management experience and proven team management skills.
