Our client, an Art Foundation, is looking for a Head of Publications to join their team. The successful candidate will develop and deliver the Foundation’s publications strategy and projects, building publications as a new pillar of the Foundation’s activities. Responsibilities will include working closely with the Director to shape and develop the Foundation’s activities in alignment with its mission, vision, and charitable objectives; playing an active role in the senior leadership team to ensure alignment across the organisation; developing and delivering a strategy for publications and printed matter, and leading team members to devise and deliver publication projects alongside the Foundation’s programming and partnerships; and building and maintaining relationships within the arts ecosystem, including with writers, publishers, curators, and others, among other duties. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and time management abilities, strong editorial judgement and writing skills, and demonstrated experience in editorial and publishing processes. Candidates with 7+ years of experience in the editorial, publishing, writing, or other related field, including at least 3 years of leadership experience, are invited to apply. Candidates who speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese, and who have a strong understanding of the Chinese/ Sinophone/ Asian diasporic cultural context are preferred.
