Project Manager (Maternity Cover), Artist Studio, London
Our client, an Artist Studio, is seeking a Project Manager to join their London-based team on a maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will work closely with the Studio Manager to support the delivery of projects, commissions, and exhibitions from initial planning through to completion. Key responsibilities include coordinating exhibition logistics and associated documentation; assisting with the preparation and review of contracts and loan agreements; maintaining professional relationships with lenders and key stakeholders; coordinating external consultants such as designers, curators, conservators, and photographers; collaborating with internal team members to ensure clear communication and the smooth progression of projects; supporting installation teams; initiating new works into production with external fabricators and maintaining detailed production schedules; monitoring fabrication costs and related expenditure; and tracking timelines for fabrication and artwork delivery, alongside other related duties. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and confident working collaboratively as a clear and effective communicator. Candidates with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a production or project management role within an artist studio, gallery, or cultural organisation, and proven experience supporting the successful international delivery of projects on schedule and within budget, are invited to apply.
