Researcher, New York
Our client, an international blue chip gallery, is seeking a highly organized Researcher to join their team in New York. The person in this role will be responsible for performing in-depth research on both individual works of art as well as specific artists, writing short academic texts for exhibitions, art market research and price analysis, and preparing offers and sales documentation. Candidates must have a Masters degree in Art History as well as a minimum of 3 – 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a gallery or auction house setting. Knowledge of foreign languages, especially German, would be preferred, but is not required.
