The Regional Director will be responsible for looking after artist relationships and managing the accounts of allocated artists. They will identify key artists in the collection and identify ways to scale selected relationships to advance sales, as well as have an active participation in the art scene and market to gather local intelligence and market information. The Regional Director will also select new artwork investments aligned with the artist investment schedule, sign new artists to the business and link in with the international sales team to offer sales opportunities and sales related business development possibilities. The Regional Director will work with selected artists to curate the Collection by selecting their yearly artwork investments. The position requires a committed and dynamic individual who is hard working and knows how to manage their time to yield results. Attention to detail is vital with a real desire to give the best service to every artist participating in the program. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential. The role will be part time.

This person will be responsible for contributing strategically to the Gallery’s curatorial program, to ensure that the programming is in line with the position that the Gallery wishes to attain in the market and with international trends. The Curator will establish relationships with museum and independent curators in order to promote gallery artists and with the view of obtaining museum shows for Gallery artists. The role is all-encompassing and will entail sales, studio management, art fair coordination, production and logistics as well as oversight of the website and mailing list. This person will make sales of prints, editions and unique works on paper and oversee associated administration and shipping of sold artworks. Production management and creative assistance will be required in overseeing the artist in the creative process of fabricating the work and taking it to market. This person will be responsible for liaising between the artist and the fabricators during the whole production process, so aspects of budgeting and condition checking will be involved. Another responsibility will be to oversee and update the website and mailing list, adding new items, writing product descriptions and managing online stock. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordination of art fairs including drawing up proposals and overseeing logistics, curation and sales.

Focus and concentration on business development will be in the New York City area.
