Sales and Artist Assistant, London
Our client, a leading Gallery, is seeking a Sales and Artist Assistant to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially minded, and adaptable, supporting both the sales function of the gallery and the management of designated artist relationships. Responsibilities will include generating invoices and coordinating post-sale processes; updating internal sales and inventory records; supporting traveling sales staff; reconciling expenses; developing client profiles through Salesforce and other systems; reviewing auction activity; cultivating new collectors; managing client pipelines; and acting as a brand ambassador at gallery and museum events. The role will also involve supporting Directors with market development strategies for designated artists; managing artist relationships to maximise promotional and sales opportunities; collaborating on exhibitions and installations; and keeping teams updated on artist-related activity. The ideal candidate will have had previous assistant experience within a similar commercial gallery environment. They will be collaborative, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
